Training life in Malay

Training has been absolutely awesome here in Malay for the last 3 weeks, and everything is going very well and we are all working super hard in Malay, despite the heat!

The average temperature in KL has been easily 30+, and at times near the 40 degree mark. The hall off course is not air conditioned [...]

First Days in Malay!

Well, the transit in Hong Kong was long-winded and…well…not boring, but just plain long and an energy consumer.
Checkout at the Hotel was around 12pm noon, so I had a whole 9 hours to kill after that, before catching the plan to K.L. and eventually arriving really late (or early depending on which way you look [...]

Portable Software and Applications

Traditionally, we like to “install” software applications onto our computer. This is indeed still the way for most people who are not aware now of the existence of “portable applications”.
The idea of portable applications has been around for a long time, but its only recently started to gain popularity for a lot of computer users.
What [...]

Differences between a Web Developer and a Web Designer

It is frustrating nearly all the time, to hear people getting a Web Developer and a Web Designer mixed up.
Yep, indeed they “sound” similar, and one cannot do without the other, however these are 2 extremely different jobs…

Below is an in-depth explanation of the main differences between a Web Developer and a Web Designer, and [...]

Clearing DIV contents and TEXTAREA contents with JQuery

Simple question, simple answer!
I often wondered how and if this could be done, and seems to me like its extremely simple:

Assuming you have:

div contents here…

textarea contents…
All you have to do in JQuery to clear the contents is:
$(‘#tarea’).val(”);
$(‘#darea’).text(”);
And this should clear the corresponding div and textarea.
Hope this helps someone out there!
