New Year Resolutions

New Year Resolutions

I think it is good for everybody to have goals annually and to reflect at the end of the year to see if you have achieved these goals. Here are mine for this new and exciting year, 2009!

It is easier to write it down somewhere, either in a blog (like me) or physically on the paper, otherwise you will find yourself forgetting all about what resolutions you have made after a while…

  • Record all expenses. This way spending can be tracked and managed properly.
  • Pro-actively reaching goals. Other goals which are still going, or will be set throughout the year should be pro-actively looked after and constantly pursued.
  • Be more sociable and outgoing – depending on personality and mood. This one is hard to measure but should be thought about and look back on it once in a while.
  • Better time management, making more use of the Calendar and to-do tasks for agenda planning etc…
  • Try more new things, and follow instincts and gut feelings more.
  • Communication, communicate better in the relationship. Speak the mind of myself whilst listening to the other half.
  • Control impatience, towards all things. Remain calm and deal with the situation as the situation does not get better even when eagerness and impatience is exercised.
  • Improve visualization skills. Seek to improve my mental training both on and off court.

Now there’s my 8 new year resolutions, where’s yours?
